Wind Beneath The Wings

Integrity. Service. Excellence.
Three values I have gained.
Each of them you demonstrated,
Each one of them attained.

Giving your time to be there,
showing passion everyday.
You've taught me by example,
and by the image you portray.

Never expecting good enough,
Always wanting my best.
You pushed me past my limits
You put me to the test.

All this while I had self-doubt,
but your faith helped me see.
That anything is possible,
If you just believe.

All the thoughts of giving up,
slowly went away.
With all your words of encouragement,
each and every day!

I came with insecurity,
hiding from my past.
But you helped me open my eyes,
to see that my future hadn't passed.

So much success lies ahead,
that before, I couldn't see.
I now know what is possible
because you believed in me.

You have given me strength, confidence and knowledge,
You have given me wings to fly.
I cannot tell you how thankful I am,
that you were my MTI.
