We have had to say farewell to numerous members of the “Wolfpack” this year and open heartedly welcomed others. We had to say good bye to TSgt Beverly Hover and after her tenure her at the Wolfden. MSgt Butler left to Osan AB Korea, MSgt Tina Thieken (Shirt) left to go to the 319th TRS and her replacement is MSgt Michael Pelletier. An before we had gotten used to having him around, he now has left us and his replacement is MSgt Rickey L. Johnson TSgt Jesse White (The Master Black Rope) has also left to rejoin his career field in Germany and use the Autobahn for his mustang speedometer check. MSgt Myrick left to go work for the Group, SSgt Edwards and the infamous TSgt Maxey left to go to War Skills as Academics instructors. SMSgt Glen Usherwood left and went to the Standardization and Evaluation team; he will be greatly missed. Though not left high and dry the “Wolfpack” was lucky enough to get SMSgt Carl Chapman. He is returning to BMT after taking some time back in his career field. Welcome SMSgt Chapman!!!! Although we have had a lot of people leave the Wolfpack, we have had a lot of new faces show up with the flow of students arriving here. We would like to welcome Jessie Spicer our new CSS. She is in the reserves until December when she will retire. We would also like to congratulate the 179 TDY instructors for stepping up and assisting the Wolfpack when we need it. MSgt John Cronin, MSgt William Schumacher, TSgt Chrissie Valenza, TSgt Carl DeLong, and SSgt Nicole Haun we thank you for your assistance and “old school” knowledge you have brought us in our time of need.
2010 will bring many challenges followed by success and lessons learned. We are committed to preparing young men and woman for success while engaged in the Global War On Terror. We not only get them in shape by providing grueling physical training while simultaneously instill a mindset as to the importance of staying in shape. Our instructor teams are focused on challenging Wolfpack trainees academically to ensure they grasp basic Air Force knowledge but to also make them understand that future success in the Air Force mandates good study habits. We will continue to provide relevant current events briefs to our trainees to ensure they are current and well advised as to the state of their Air Force as they enter its ranks. We are looking forward to the rest of the year and we are looking forward to many challenges ahead, but remember:
“MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON
THE WOLFPACK'S PREY!!!!!”
